CDS Africa joined the Gold Coast Medical Foundation for their annual free medical screening

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, CDS Africa joined the Gold Coast Medical Foundation for their annual free medical screening for parents and children living with cerebral palsy.
Our participation in this year’s program reflects our commitment to ensuring that families of children with cerebral palsy do not feel neglected or abandoned in the face of their daily challenges. In addition to donating toiletries and other essential items to support these resilient families, the CDS Africa team also actively assisted with the medical screening process. This forms part of our broader advocacy for inclusive socioeconomic development and our ongoing study aimed at promoting recognition for unpaid care work in Ghana, funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).
